Nothing disappears without a trace (2004)

Installation I Fischer Gallery, Oberlin, USA

Nothing disappears without a trace was an evolving installation over one week, where processes of transformation and mourning were brought into the gallery. Life saving devices were cast with plaster, suggesting a landscape of fragments and devastation. Over the week, the plastic skins were pealed off, washed and hung to become material to be used in the next installation.
Throughout the week, people from the community were invited for performances.
